Detroit May Still Get RoboCop Statue
After set-backs and quite possibly the best tweet ever (below) it looks like Detroit is back on track to having a statue of the greatest crime-fighting robot of our generation: Robocop. The group behind the statue effort has reached its goal of $25,000 that will be matched by corporate sponsor, Omni Consumer Products.

Who is this mysterious Omni Consumer Products Corporation backing this awesome project?
My Googling senses revealed they are the future of yesterday, today and make fantasy products from movies and tv into reality, such as Tru Blood drinks, Stay Puft marshmallows and Sex Panther cologne. Let’s hope thye make an SUX 2000 next:
