Man Vs. Zombies
As a regular twitter user, I’ve browsed the myriad of users ranging from the obsessive tweeter who posts every 30 seconds about her dog’s bowel movements, to the celebrity trying to keep in touch with the little people. All of them have their moments, sure, but overall they’re relatively mundane. Then I ran across something truly bizarre and interesting…
This is easily one of the most interesting and unique uses of twitter. The user, “Gus”, apparently exists in an alternate reality where a zombie outbreak has occurred and he is tweeting his “diary of the apocalypse”. Thus far, Gus has revealed himself to be a weed smoking slacker with some very strange ideas about his new circumstances… all while witnessing downright freaky supernatural occurrences happening around him.
What’s even more impressive than the fact that “Gus” is unfolding a surprisingly detailed narrative is the fact that he’s backing his story up with – wait for it – pictures http://twitpic.com/xko74.
Somebody get this man a movie deal. Or at least, save him from the zombies before they find him.
