Amish Youth Charged After Drag Racing

Oh those crazy Amish are at it again. In the small town of Ashland, Ohio police have charged Jacob Raber with a driving left of center ticket. I’d say he got away easy on that one.

Seems Jacob and a buddy of his where on their way to church heading down Route 758 this last Sunday when they decided to make the trip a little more interesting with a drag race.

While attempting to get the best out of his buggy he veered a little too much to the left and clipped a motorist with his carriage.

Raber reportedly suffered scratches and cuts in the accident. His three passengers and the motorist escaped unharmed. No one else was injured and the other motorists where not charged.

Just goes to show you. It’s possible to get wild and crazy on the roads in any sort of vehicle. And sometimes it’s even more fun where you might least expect it:
