Badminton has always been pretty low on the “fun to watch sports scale” but there is certainly one way to increase interest. This was apparently just an exhibition match but if it proves as popular as I think it will than I don’t see why they won’t continue on with it.
I guess it’s sort of like how the NFL plays a few games in the UK each year. They’re attempting to broaden their brand into other markets. I really think this is going to be a hit on Tatoonie and I wouldn’t be surprised if their style took off on Earth as well.
