Guy Tries to Flee Cops, Runs Into Police Convention

They say crime doesn’t pay, but what it doesn’t pay for with money–it does make up for with uproarious laughter. Dominique Martin is a man that is addicted to cigarettes. His nicotine fits rival that of the most avid smoker. When his girlfriend and him began arguing over their smokes… his addiction manifested itself into some criminal battery. He struck her, which prompted his girlie to drive to the local police station in Joliet, IL. She ran in and told police, while Dominique began his search for cigarettes on foot. Police pursued Dominique and he definitely took a wrong turn… right into a huge police convention.

30 local police officers were attending a “Be prepared for anything” training course a few blocks from the police station. As Dominique fled, he turned right into the area where the cops were being trained. Apparently, their training was pretty good because they were prepared for Dominique. A mass group of cops took him down.

Dominique isn’t the type to go out without a fight. Police had put cuffs on him and started reading him his rights. Dominique had more criminally genius tricks up his sleeves. Once the cuffs were on he gave those coppers the slip once more and began fleeing again. Dominique Loggins is a slippery bastard, but not slippery enough. A short time later he was apprehended again and taken into custody.

He is being charged with domestic battery and escaping police. The 21 year old will probably end up behind bars where the cigarette scene is much different. Instead of getting in verbal altercations with a 20 year old girl over them… he’s probably gonna be traded to a large man named Herschel for a carton of smokes. And it is very unlikely that Herschel knows about the whole “sharing is caring” initiative.
