Russell Crowe In Talks to Play Superman’s Daddy
While we aren’t sure whether or not they celebrate Father’s Day on Krypton, we are sure that there are dads on Krypton. In 1978, the guy chosen to play the poppa of the “Man of Steel,” was none other than Hollywood legend — Marlon Brando. With the new “Superman” reboot one Mr. Russell Crowe is in talks to play the role of Superman’s father Jor-El. It’s hard to picture someone grounding Superman for being bad, or catching him smoking pot. Oh, what a crazy life it would be to try and keep up with your younger superpowered son.
“Spider-Man” director, Bryan Singer is directing the reboot, so it’s probably gonna be the best one yet. No word yet on what the hell Gene Hackman has been up to for the last few years, but he is a great Lex Luthor.
