John Lasseter’s Life Is Filled With Hawaiian Shirts
I’m surprised Pixar hasn’t made a murder mystery yet. Below is a 30 minute mini-documentary called “A Day In The Life of John Lasseter,” where a camera crew follows the head honcho at Pixar as he directs Cars 2. We begin in Lasseter’s mansion, which has a secret staircase, a room with basically a million Hawaiian shirts and a “train room.” All those eccentric rooms makes his home the ideal place for Miss Marple to snoop around in. “Mr. Chang was killed in the train room… but why?”
Seems like Lasseter is always very busy, but he’s very busy telling people what a good job they’re doing on his highly anticipated CG animated movie, so that’s better than being busy with foreclosing on people’s homes or sorting garbage in a waste dump. In other words, looks like a pretty fun gig. Also, everybody is basically required to hug him, which is interesting, and his office would make a Pixar toy collector immediately shit himself with joy.
Got a half hour to kill and interested in what goes on behind the wireframe curtain? Have a look…
