Link Starts Thinking With Portals (VIDEO)

As a Zelda player, I always get stuck half-way through the games. Well, there’s no better way to get un-stuck than a Portal gun, which may have been the inspiration for the new 16-bit comedy video from Dorkly!

Based on The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past for SNES, this video shows what would happen if Link traded a sword and shield for the latest technological wonder from Aperture Science. I’m making a note here – “huge success.” Seems like you can do a lot of damage with a Portal gun in Hyrule, particularly if you can think of clever uses for chickens. Just watch out though, Link. While Gannon is a monstrous menace, he doesn’t get into your head quite like GLaDOS can. Remember, if she wants to trade you cake for the Triforce, no matter how delicious it sounds, it’s not a wise move.
