When it comes to making fun of bad entertainment, it’s hard to top the RiffTrax crew, though Statler and Waldorf are definitely in the running.
Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett have been “riffing” on movies since 2006. Before that, they were three minds behind “Mystery Science Theater 3000,” where they’d pick apart cheesy movies with the help of robots. Thanks to nobody stopping them so far, RiffTrax has spread out to cover modern day fare, so we get the MST3K crew’s take on the new Star Wars movies, Lord of the Rings, and… line!
