How Scarface Must Have Gotten His Supplies (Infographic)
You’ve seen it happen on Miami Vice, scenes of the beach being covered in loose bricks of coke, with cartel employees frantically running around at night time with sunglasses on and uzi’s in their hands. Well, we never learned how the drugs actually got there in the first place. Sure, we know where it comes from, and in order to get it there you simply have a leisurely cruise through the waters at night. But apparently it’s a little more complicated than that.
According to this very thought-provoking infographic by Criminal Justice Degree, cocaine is smuggled to the United States via submarines, operated by 4 people: the engineer, the captain, the seaman, and the cartel agent. The submarines roughly cost $500,000 to build, but the profit off a single run is nearly double that.

We’ve got to wonder, if Scarface didn’t get cut, would he just be called “Face”?
