Samus Aran is the lead heroine from the Metroid gaming series. She’s also the dream woman for nerds everywhere.
In the first Metroid for NES, you didn’t really know she was a ‘she’ because she was all bundled up in that protective suit. However, if you finished the game in a certain amount of time she would take off the helmet. After that, the secret got out quick despite the difficulty level of the game.
That was to be expected though because nerds talk. And they especially talk chicks. Especially especially hot videogame chicks.
But there is no hero worship like tattooed hero worship. Behold, the homage to Samus Aran and the worshipers of her Metroid adventures.
