Russell Crowe To Play Superman’s Chubby, Chain-Smoking Father (Pictures)

Looks like Russell Crowe still hasn’t lost that paunch, eh?

These are the first pictures from his look as Jor-El in Zack Snyder’s ‘Man Of Steel’ movie.

Right now the release date is still set to be June 14 of 2013 which sucks. But since Christopher Nolan is producing it you can be sure it will be done correctly. Even if that means CG-ing the belly off of Robust Russell: The Chub-Ass Crowe.

Crowe’s arms and legs look like they have some sort of blue body suit underneath the armored robe he’s wearing. That blue body suit matches the pictures of Henry Cavill’s blue bodysuit taken while he was in costume on the set of ‘Man Of Steel.’

Gone are the red Superman-panties and the cape. But while the cape will be CG-ed back in, the man-panties will be left in the trash to fester with yesterday’s craft services discards.

Where Crowe promptly found them and ate them. Because he’s hungry.
