‘The Avengers’ Trailer Will Make Your Pants Uncomfortable (Trailer)

When was the last time you saw a movie that came about through the completion of five other movies?

Exactly.

Somehow Marvel managed to do the impossible: keep Hollywood in check and on task with the stories of several major characters and then make a movie about how they all came together.

This movie is a miracle in modern film company cooperation. From the writers to the producers to the casting agents to the directors down to the friggin’ grips this thing is a miraculous work stemming from the almighty nerd-boner of one man.

Stan Lee.

And all his imaginings are coming together in a movie event over a decade in the works.

If this movie is half as good as it should be it needs to beat all other box office records James Cameron-style. It needs to come out on IMAX 3D and be blowing something up every few minutes.

I don’t know how Hollywood managed to not get in the way of this, but whoever kept everyone on task deserves to get a Nobel Peace Prize.
