Brian Grazer Bringing Stephen King’s ‘The Dark Tower’ To HBO

article written by:

Brian Grazer is 60 years old and still gels his hair like a 14 year old boy. Ordinarily this would be a characteristic of an El Douche-o Grande, but not today.

Today, it is the overly product-ed hairdo of a genius because Stephen King’s ‘The Dark Tower’ has found a home at HBO.

Much like George R. R. Martin’s ‘Game Of Thrones’ story has begun there, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer will be doing the same sort of thing for ‘The Dark Tower.’

So far, details are a little murky as to how it’s all gonna go down. Originally Ron Howard wanted to commit a couple of movies and a couple seasons of episodes to the project but that got shot down once Comcast purchased NBC Universal, the company originally working with Howard and Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment.

But at a press junket for ‘Tower Heist,’ the movie he most recently produced, Grazer said that they were going to do the TV episodes on HBO even if the movies are still as of yet undetermined.

Looks like it could be ‘ka’ after all.
