Have a Baby With Any Celeb on AKBaby, A Bizarre Service From Japan
Another creepy service for creepy creeps, straight out of Japan, land of bizarre tentacle fetishes and panty vending machines. AKB48, a Japanese girl band, has created the AKBaby app to promote their band and new website. Perfect for stalkers, AKBaby allows the user to enter a picture of his or her face, plus the face of any celebrity they choose — and out pops a JPEG of what the couple’s baby would maybe probably look like.
Yuko Oshima, a member of the band whose name is really annoying to type, made a rendered baby between herself and Prime Minister Noda Yoshihinko. She then printed out the picture and plastered it onto a baby doll’s head, and thought it would be a great idea to show off the monstrosity to a press conference full of freaked out journalists.
It’s hard to decide which is more frightening: the spacey, cultish gaze and empty smile of Yuko as she gazes into her fapping fans’ eyes, or the picture of the little monster — err, ‘baby’ made from the two images. It looks like Tim & Eric’s Chippy.
“Won’t you make a baby with me?” Asks the tagline on an ad featuring Yuko fakely nursing a live infant. The service costs about ¥1,480, or $20USD a month, and includes perks such as access to exclusive tickets and content not made available to other fans. You just have to sift through all the wrongness to get to them.
