The UP digital Bureau and Unteleported tech agency have created the first rotary tweeter — Tweephone. You don’t actually buy a new old phone; rather, you can hook up granny’s old rotary to your computer, download the source code, do some geeky computer magic, and commence tweeting via rolling dial.
The service works like cell phones before there were Sidekicks and other keyboard laden phones. Remember when texting felt like playing a weird, jerky little song? Press 2 once for a, twice for b, thrice for c… beep bip bip. Bap bap beep. Beep beep beeeeeeep.
