There’s nothing funny about the excessive force and pepper spraying being wielded by trigger-happy police in the latest Occupy Wall Street protests… except for these photoshopped images of Lt. Pike spraying characters in classic paintings instead of his real victims, the passive students at UC. Leonardo DiCaprio even makes an appearance.
Lt. John Pike was photographed spraying a line of students who can clearly be seen sitting down, covering their heads. He casually walks down the line of students as an orange mist covers hits their faces. The image of Pike has been photoshopped into a number of historical paintings including Picasso’s “Guernica”, the Sistine Chapel Ceiling, and “Washington Crossing the Delaware.”
Although the university is currently defending Pike’s actions, himself and another officer have been suspended and are under investigation. Here are some images of pepper spray cop in action, as well as one of Leonardo for good measure.
