Machine Makes Human Poop (Video)
Another gem from the deep(ly pretentious) modern art world, the Cloaca Turd Machine sends food through a digestive process to create feces identical to a human’s in color, shape, texture, and even smell.
It took eight years of planning to build this contraption, and included consultations with professionals in fields ranging from plumbing to gastroenterology. The feces fabricator was revealed in a Belgian museum and is made by Wim Delvoye, the artist responsible for “Art Farm” — a farm where Delvoye raised pigs in order to tattoo them.
Cloaca basically means ‘anal opening’ or ‘butthole.’ Watch as the crowd quite literally sniffs out the scene, and gourmet chefs prepare five star meals to completely waste in The Mangler. Sorry, starving kids; making realistic replica poop has way more novelty than feeding you guys.
