Extreme Coupon Lady Plans 11 Hr Black Friday Shopping Spree

Joni Meyer-Crothers from TLC’s “Extreme Couponing” has big plans for this Black Friday which don’t include trampling people nor waking up at three in the morning to wait on lines for K-Mart or any other store. Joni has enlisted the help of 12 other people to help her pull an all nighter starting this evening.


Midnight. Mr. Crothers has the shopping spreadsheet. Himself and two friends head to Game Stop. 2 other friends head to Toys ‘R Us, and an additional 2 go to Wal-Mart. Mrs. Crothers and her two coupon babies in training are off to Kohl’s. The team will converge at J.C. Penney’s, continue through Target, Meijer, Learning Express, and Costco. Just when you thought they were finished, the mall awaits as the final boss.

It sounds like the worst Christmas movie ever, until you hear that this extended, overnight shopping spree is actually in the name of charity. Everything purchased will be gift wrapped and given to needy families as part of Crothers’ charity, Miracle Christmas. Things aren’t always so terrible after all.
