G.I. Joe Crew Member Dies on Movie Set
G.I. Joe: Retaliation 2 is sure to be at least interesting — Bruce Willis, lego-head Channing Tatum, and The Rock always draw a crowd. The set, however, has been tainted by a grim accident that claimed the life of crew member Mike Huber.
Huber was tearing down a set when the high-powered scissor lift supporting him tipped over, causing fatal injuries.
Paramount pictures released this message: “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with [Huber’s] family at this time. The safety of our cast and crew is our top priority and the studio is fully co-operating with all investigating agencies as they examine the circumstances surrounding this unusual accident.”
What terrible news for the holiday. This post will be followed by something considerably less depressing.
