Employee of the Week: Retired NASA Lady Shoots Husband’s Mistress

Former NASA trainer Shannon O’Roark Griffin took a road trip longer than her name to kill her husband’s new lover. After shooting the woman three times in the face, this sweet looking old lady is sure to be locked up and shot into outer space in solitary.


The 52-year-old woman is charged with capital murder after driving hours to Irina Puscariu’s house to kill her. After the murder, Griffin called her husband and daughter to confess her crimes, giving police a way to track her down and arrest her. A nice little morsel of irony rests in the fact that the affair was only discovered because Griffin’s husband openly admitted to it during couple’s therapy.

She brought disguises, an array of weapons, plastic gloves and bags, and other various murder assistants. Nowak botched her operation, however, by freaking out too early and alarming Shipman, who alerted police immediately.
