Lady Gaga is the new Marilyn Manson. That’s what she’s being marketed as: the morbidly-bizarre-but-uniquely-hip ‘cutting edge’ musician of our current time. She’s so edgy. She’s so weird. She’s so scary! Replace ‘she’ with ‘he’, and it’s Manson all over again. Although there’s something very bland about trying your hardest to be as crazy as possible, Lady Gaga has a few decent songs. And by ‘decent’ I mean ‘catchy enough to loop in my head until I’m driven to suicide.’
