Someday soon, our dog overlords will be making posts like “22 Humans Doing Dog Things” and mocking us like the subservient scum we are.
Because, when you really think about it, the dog is often more in charge than it’s owner. Can’t stay out too long; gotta feed the dog. Walking your dog to lunch means eating outside and dealing with all the other dogs who pass by. Your dog can’t take himself to the dog park, either. We say cats are the ones who own us, but it’s dogs we need to watch out for. We’re all convinced they’re “man’s best friend” while they’re busy silently taking over our lives, and that mentality only makes it easier for them to get closer (to mastering their masters).
