Whether coming from a broken home or an over-privileged one, all crust punks are cut from the same filthy cloth. They want to live broke and free, embarking on a neverending adventure that usually involves hard drugs and face tattoos.
Crust punks are often considered to be the ‘mean girls’ of the punk scene because their ‘live free’ motto is seen as a facade above an elitist and condescending attitude toward everyone who doesn’t fit into their clique. Crust punks don’t give a shit, as per their ‘f*ck you all’ attitude. What do you care anyway? Shouldn’t you be back in your cubicle? That’s what they would say. Just kidding; their response to your insults would most likely be a piss-filled bottle flying at your head.
