Darwin would be so pissed. Q: How many idiots have died by strolling into an intersection with their (stupid) smartphones in front of their faces? A: Not enough.
Fort Lee, NJ, has begun issuing $85 tickets to anyone caught texting while walking. They’ve handed out 117 tickets so far.
Soon, pedestrians will be required to walk in a single-file line down the street on their right side. Anyone walking on their left side will be arrested, and children caught running/playing out of line will be executed on the spot. So what? We have to make an example of them to show the other kids how to behave properly. We don’t want a society full of people who think it’s okay to make your own decisions, even if they are stupid and annoying sometimes.
