KFC Now Offers 3-Year College Degree Course

KFC is teaming up with (AKA pouring £800,000 into) DeMonfort University in Leicester to create a 3-year course for those pursuing a degree in restaurant management. Sorry, McDonald’s — your 2-year course at Manchester Metropolitan University just doesn’t cut it anymore.
KFC UK Managing Director Martin Shuker says that running a KFC is difficult and complex — each restaurant manager must oversee an average of 40 employees in a business that generates about £1.25 million a year.
KFC employees can take the course for about £4,500, and KFC will cover the rest.
