The reason these are used is that it's a cleared newspaper, meaning there are no ads of real brands or anything in there. It's made by a prop company and while it would be nice to have a ton of variety, we really don't have the time or money to create a custom newspaper for every scene where they just want someone to hold something over breakfast. Think of it like a generic soda you would see on tv.
