Where is DB Cooper?
This is less of an infographic and more of an article with images cobbled together in an image. An info graphic is supposed to compress information and make it quick and easy to digest. Anyway.
What about Jack the ripper, or boston strangler?
How are these the most famous crimes ever committed?
Perhaps you would be better to name this article "The Most Famous Murder Stories from the United States". You may also wish to note that the rest of the world has heard of relatively few of these murder cases.
The title implies we should all think that because these are from the US, that they are therefore the most famous. Well, news flash – there's over 150 other countries out there, most of whom whose citizens are not USA centric.
Similarly, just because they are murder cases does not make them 'the most famous crimes'. There have been some massive heists in the past of incredible notoriety, that will no doubt be better known than half these cases.
My first thought was also: "Where is DB cooper." Also, it's called the most famous crimes. How bout the DC Sniper? Even the Enron ordeal.
as ever and mentioned earlier, the title should be reference the fact that it's the most, greatest, biggest etc…in the US, rather than imply the world doesn't exist outside US borders.
