Geek Creates Megaman Mosaic (PICS)
If you ever thought you might be a Megaman geek, you’ve got nothing on Jarosh. This guy has created a custom mosaic using 1,500 screenshots. He’s used screenshots from each level of each Megaman from 1 to 6. He then printed the whole thing on canvas that was mounted on a wooden frame. After it all said and done, the full mosaic measures 4 feet by 4 feet.
the idea was to have one screenshot for every pixel of the mega man sprite and then have the sprite surrounded by the remaining screenshots.
now, in theory there shouldn’t be any duplicates, i took just the right amount of screenshots – however, what you see here is actually a composite of several different mosaics and there’s been a LOT of manual editing too, a lot of photoshop work etc. it’s possible that several of the tiles show up twice or even three times. but the majority of the tiles are unique, even the ones that look very similar. took me several weeks to finish the whole thing.

That’s real devotion if I’ve ever seen it. I’m not sure I’ve know anyone else who loves Megaman more. If I were to make something like this, I would probably do it of Link. He’s probably my favorite video game character of all time. Either him or Cooking Mama.
