One amazing artist by the name of Scott Wade (a.k.a the Dirty Car Artist) takes something completly dirty and turns it into a masterpiece. Using a dirty car window as his canvas he creates works using his finger and brushes. He’s been on Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, Maxim Magazine, and many other TV shows.
Some people have called me the Dirty Car Art Guy or the DaVinci of Dust but I like to be called the Dirty Car Artist. It’s weird because dirty cars are so much a part of our culture, and when you see a dirty car you think “oh god that’s ugly. You know it’s an eyesore, you gotta go wash it.” When you can turn that into beauty than it challenges our perception of what’s beautiful and what’s not beautiful. Plus, dirty car art is a mobile art gallery.
One thing is for sure…he takes something that otherwise would be something no too interesting to look at and makes it truly a sight to behold. He’s done so many that it’s hard for me to pick a favorite. Have a look through them and let me know which one best grabs your attention.
