Airline Advertisement Fail

Update. The fine folks at Turkish airlines have contacted us saying it was an error by whoever hung that particular sign, not part of a larger ad campaign. Thanks for the e-mail guys, Turkish Airlines is a WIN. They even included a photo of the correct ad.

    Hi,

The picture above has drawn our attention, thanks for posting the picture and comments. We would like to clarify this issue with further information.

The picture was taken in Muscat, Oman. The agency that is responsible for this project had a breakdown of their internal approval systems that resulted in the supplier being misinformed about the correct way to adhere the signage in question. The sign was taken down after 2 days, with an apology letter from the agency. A correct version of the sign

    Thank you for your time.
