The world of online flash games has grown to such amazing heights in the past few years with hundreds of games being released every month. Some reach instant popularity while others live short lives then eventually die out without a trace. Flash games are becoming more and more similar as originality starts to take a back seat to whatever style of game is becoming popular. Once a popular game emerges on the net, several games are released shortly after. These games are just clones of an original idea but some do go on to stand their own ground in whatever style of game they chose to copy. The largest styles of games I’ve seen copied in the last little while are DDR/Guitar Hero, Tower Defense, and launch games (kitten cannon, learn to fly, etc.). With all these game creators jumping on the latest bandwagons, I figured I’d take a look at some of the most unique and enjoyable flash games the internet currently has to offer.
