It is always pretty worrisome when you lose a pet, or even a small child. These days, it’s quite common to report your pet as missing to the internet (like on craigslist, or local community forums) in order to get your beloved pup or kitten back.

Before the internet was a pet locating resource, people had to put up  posters on telephone poles in their respective neighborhoods. Thankfully, the tradition has not died!
