It’s not often you come across buskers with a drum kit doing their thing for a few bucks. However, there are exceptions, and thie ones I’m sharing below are incredible. Especially the guys who are using ‘make-shift’ kits.

We all miss the good old days when hip-hop was played through a boom box, and the king of New York was undisputedly Biggie. At that time the king of the streets in Ottawa was none other than Organized Rhyme, the acclaimed rap duo comprised of Pin the Chameleon (Greg Campbell) and MC Bones (comedian Tom Green).

Organized Rhyme re-united this past summer Montreal’s very own Just for Laughs festival. They hit the streets with Boo Ya Pictures to film a new video for their 2011 Remix of their award winning hit “Check the O.R.”.

MC Bones and Pin turn the city upside down, providing light-hearted entertainment (or disturbing the peace, your call) for folks trying to enjoy their lunch break on a beautiful Montreal summer day. The video also calls back some classic moments from the original video that took Canada by storm in 1992, winning the Much Vibe Video of the Year. The song was also nominated for a Juno (that’s Canadian for “Grammy”) for best rap recording.

When M.C Bones (Green) is not blurting rhymes into a mic, he can be found getting back to his roots in comedy. Tom is currently touring the United States before heading off to Australia in March. His stand-up show hosts a variety of talented acts, including his rapping and a lot of audience interaction. This Canadian prankster is once again bringing the laughs to audiences across the globe, following a successful five-year run with his online show; “Tom Green’s House Tonight.”

Melody Tunes is an Arabic music channel that plays Western music like 50 Cent, Shakira and Madonna. Their commercials are probably better than the actual songs.

I take-a-you to da candy shop. Not sure if they realize what “I’ll let you lick the lollipop means” or are just trying to PG it down for the viewers.

WTF? A comedic song about an 8 mile wide vagina that pretty much belongs to everyone. Sounds like a nightmare.

This is a pretty PG music video for such a horrific topic. In reality, people should be crying, screaming, running for their lives. It would be like a hairier version of The Blob chasing teenagers and Kevin Dillon down the street.

The 80′s are back, and not just in an extremely well packaged PG version you can purchase at any K-Mart. While her CDs are probably available in K-Mart, Robyn’s music is meant for every amazing dance party that happens anywhere.

This video is easy to fall in love with both because of the catchy song and the awesome dance moves. It’ll have you imitating Robyn for days (possibly weeks) on end. The last party at my house shook the floors as this song was played 3 times in a row. I was sick, so I had to listen to the thumping from my bedroom below, eat ice cream from the tub, and cry about my miserable existence.
